Mezza Luna's Fall 2011 Menu!
Fall has arrived and with it, a new menu.
November the 1st is the fourth anniversary of the Falloon’s ownership of Mezza Luna and during that time there have been many changes. Hopefully the most noticeable one is a continuous improvement in the quality of food offered. Our new menu takes a further step forward.
Head Chef Scott Dunn and Sous Chef Brian Shreve have long wanted to change some of the older inherited recipes, specifically those that go with the “create your own pasta “ section of the menu. Their belief, shared with the owners, is that a mix and match approach to a dish gives the customer work to do and distances the chefs from the final product. Therefore Scott and Brian have created seven signature pasta dishes, featuring the freshest of ingredients and priced as affordably as the previous pastas. We are thrilled with what they have done and are sure you will be too. We will be delighted to offer a small sample of any of the new pasta dishes to help you make up your mind.
In addition to the changes in our pasta selection, we have changes to our Appetizers including a grilled bistro steak, and an Avocado, fried green tomato and crabmeat open sandwich. New salads include a roasted wild mushroom, asparagus and arugula salad.
New entrees include a Harris Ranch Pork Chop and changed recipes to old favorites like our scallops, our Ahi Tuna and our Salmon.
